These were taken a few years ago with my first digital camera. It was only 2 mega pixels but it still did a fairly good job.

40,000 feet over Winnipeg on the way from Calgary to Ottawa

Along the canal in Ottawa

Inside the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa. Politicians are just about my least favourite people but the inside of the building is quite nice.

We headed north into the Gatineau hills and caught some of the trees changing colour. I wish I had been there about 2 weeks later when they would have been well advanced.

An inn in the hills.

The flight from Ottawa to Quebec City. Not exactly a 747 but at least you could look out the front and see the runway on landing.

The first view of the Chateau Frontenac

The area near the chateau

There are many places selling art. Some on the streets and some in galleries.

The Funicular that goes to the lower part of the city near the St. Lawrence River

The lower part of the city. It has a very European feel to it.

Great series -- made me feel like I was right there. Unfortunately theres far too many to critique individually!

Great shots..

Seeing all those QC pictures makes me want to go back, I can remember all of that so well, and I last went 7 years ago....mmmm, I smell a road trip coming

Good for you! I can't count the number of times we have said the same things about the Rockies.

Of this series, the night shots of the Chateau Frontenac are spectacular though. Makes me want to go and visit Quebec again, as well as reminds me of the shots of the Banff Springs that I missed out on during the weekend.
Thanks for sharing!

These are really nice, I would love to go there one day. Seems like an amazing place

They are very nice. All of them. Each one in its own way.
But they are too many ... and while being so many they are not numbered... When you post more than 5 pics in one thread (and my suggestion always is: don't make it more than 12 at the most), please number them. It helps other members so much more to comment on the pics individually.

Now all I can say is: nice and impressive series.

OK. Will do. Thanks.
