    I really like this. im thinking of getting into macro soon just need to raise the funds for a 100mm f/2.8 macro. do yoou mind me asking what your set up was for that?

    I was actually using my kit lens - a 28-90mm that has a macro setting on it. Then I added 2 macro filters that I own - a +1 and +2. I was handholding at ISO 400, 1/160, and f/5.6. Took me about six consecutive shots to get one in focus and I had to do some noise reduction in PS.

    Hope that helps. I'd love to get the 100 2.8. Good luck on that!

    Nice shot, but it seems more like the end rather than the beginning we are about to experience with Spring coming along.

    Yeah, there were a lot of naked dandelions out in the yard yesterday - I was kind of surprised. We did have a slight windy chill pass through a couple days ago - maybe thats why.
