Thanks. I love that California sunshine! A thrift shop is a store that takes contributions of used articles, including furniture, clothes, etc.. and sells them, with the profits usually going to a charity. The one in the photo was run by a Jewish women's group. Down the street was "Out of the Closet" which benefited LGBT causes.
