This little guy was outside my window earlier. I couldn't find him in the reptile book. I really wish I had a bigger lens so that I didn't have to crop the image so much. I also wish I had cleaned the windows!

    Thanks for looking!

He's a Desert Spiny Lizard! I see him in the front yard all the time, but never this close to the house.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

Wow, wish I had that guy outside my window to photograph! :)

Wish his tail were sharp, too. Love the face on him. :)

Yeah I was intentionally focusing on his face. I really needed to move to get a better shot, but when I did he bolted. I thought it was cool anyway. Thanks.

Very cool. Are they mean, or do they pretty much leave you alone if you do the same?

The other day I was at work, and stepped outside the door to find a Copperhead. So feel good to know your guest wasn't venomous, especially if you have little younglings running around.

I want to catch him! Those are worth about $1,000 here.

BTW, you can bring out most of the scales detail that was lost to focus with careful use of the sharpening tools. The shot looks worth the effort!
