Outside...

This just shows you can find an ok shot anywhere. I went outside not to long ago and decided I wasn't coming in until I had gotten a couple of shots. It didn't take long before I had a few. I liked these ok. #1 happens to be my favorite, but I just can't decide whether the B&W Conversion was a good idea or not. Let me know what everyone thinks..and after I get some feedback I can post the color versions of them.

I really like the texture of the first one. I think it is really cool

No wonder the first turned out to be your favourite: it is good. Lovely play with lines and the patterns the shadow lines form on the deck planks (if that is the correct term, I don`t know) ... and it is a very nice study of texture, too. How deep was your DOF? It COULD have been nice to have it a tad deeper, but that is nitpicking...

So what's the colour version like?
Does the wood grain show even better?
Is the wood a nice sunset-reddish-brown?
