    I love these shots that fill the frame, good feather detail, I have the same shot taken at the bird of prey centre in Coaldale. Where was this shot taken?

    I think its a Eagle owl too, but not a baby. Would be fluffier then. By the looks of it, its a canadian eagle owl. Its the only eagle owl i know with the yellow eyes. But it might as well be another species, i dont know all the owls of the world :)

    It was taken at the reptile expo in Red Deer Alberta Canada
    And It seemed full grown, no horns
    So I will agree eagle owl!

    awesome picture, love owl eyes and how they pop. thought a bird of pray doesnt seem like it belongs at a reptile expo, it gunna think its a the pray of choice expo :geek:
