I'd been looking at getting a grip for my 40D and finally decided on the ownuser BH-C50R. With it having the remote shutter built-in, compact design and half the price of the canon grip I thought I'd give it a go.

Anyone else have any experience with this grip?

Have you checked the owner reviews at adorama and bhphoto?

Can't find anything on that particular grip on those sites. To be honest I found one video on youtube for the "same" grip on the 450D. Not the same grip but looks the same so I'm assuming it functions the same as on the 40D.

I couldn't find much info on it on the net that's why I'm a bit stumped.
