I really like the way the colors popped on this photo I just wish the head was a little sharper.

I once rehabilitated a pair of mallards from 3 days old (along with a peking duck and a unknown to me black species and two african geese all at the same time in the sae enclosure) and I have to say, it was wonderful having them here and being able to care for the little guys, but I couldnt wait for them to be old enough to let go. They were some of the filthiest animals  . Love them to death though. Great picture.

A friend of mine at college this year decided it would be a brilliant idea to get ducks as a pet falsely thinking girls would love them. He decided to ignore my warning about their habits and associated smell. Needless to say he gave them to a farm a week later. Thanks for the comments.
