Here's a repost of a much larger image. This was a digital original of a palm detail in Florida. Florida's a tough place to photograph due to the chaos of nature and intrusion of 'civilization.'

Nicely abstract, with very pleasingly muted colours, which I like, though I am known as the colour freak here on board. And yet... I also like the pattern and the texture here, it is nicely crisp, but if you hadn't let us know what it is, it would be "happy guessing" here for me :D.

I like to use as little color as possible; to give it 'just a teeny bit' to get the idea across...also with filtered light there are a host of contrast issues and saturation problems I am finding if you jack up color...at least here in Florida. Thanks for looking!
