Saw this driving home last night on the 2nd of may. I was driving home with my girlfreind and another friend of mine after working in my school's photo studio earlier and we saw fireworks while we were crossing the Broadway bridge.

We swung around onto I-5 and stopped at this little spot on the onramp to I-84, then as quickly as possible ran to my trunk grabbed my tripod, mounted my camera on it, and as soon as I started shooting the finale started.

I dialed in 20 seconds, f/27 at ISO 200 and hoped for the best...

    ...looks like I got lucky!

I got the fireworks and then shot some of the skyline to give it some context.

I wish the edge of the fireworks weren't cut off. That's my only complaint. Beautiful shot. I like the long exposure.
