    Me too--the Ektachrome slide is crystal clear, too.

    If the slide is all clear, that is all that you want. Sometimes scanning does not yield the results that you actually hold in hands.
    With that knowledge in mind, I must say I do like the abstract you created here. I like the colour! (And the fact that it is peeling makes your pic, of course ;))
