Pelican 1500 knock off, how to set my cameras in it?

Hello All,

I am the proud new daddy to a IP77 water and dust proof peli knockoff that I picked up for $90.00
Ive never seen pick and pluck before and I am scared to screw it up. I am hoping someone can tell me how much side padding I should leave for the bodies, if I should place the bodies flat or on their sides. There is 6.25" inside height and my crop sensor bodies are about 5.0"

Cant wait to start plucking and picking

Three rows, or about 1" is what I like as a perimeter/between items boundary.

I never used foam.
I used Pelican's :
Pelican 1505 Padded Divider Set for 1500 Case (Grey)
So I had about 1/4" between pieces of gear.

On Amazon a Pelican 1500 is only $10 more than what you paid for your knockoff.
