Penguins?? Did someone say penguins??

I really really like these shots!! The outline of so many birds on the snow makes for a cool 'pattern', and then to see so many taking off in flight also makes for an interesting shot.

    Where were the pictures taken?

Is there a vote? I'll vote for penguins - they don't crap on you from a great height! Lovely to see a colony of gulls (not sea gulls) but I bet you had fun trying to get an exposure to suit all your frame.

Haha you're right, they do look like penguins in a way. They don't really look like a seagull though.
