Let's say I'm in love with sepia/ old photos right now! I'm really interested what you think about those two.

They are both really nice and I like them for their timeless quality. They are recent but could both also have been taken years ago (many years...) because little has changed. Not the rutted road, not the fences, not the clothes, not the fact that people in the country have to work hard for their living... and the pretty young woman in her national costume could also have looked like this when the grandmother of this one was this young. Her smile is very nice, and DOF in the second is as perfect as you chose for the first. Pleasing compositions in both, too.

Downright GOOD photography, I say.

The woman shot really stands great. The pose, the expression, the ambiance, the setting. Still looks authentic. Very nice.

Thank you all for your feedback.

to anthegreat1: i have a few close shots with the old man, i'll do some PS work and post them here. the man was quite expressive.
