Pet Bee

I went out right after the storm and found this bee motionless on a flower.
Not sure if he was exhasted or just drying off, but I actually picked him up and he posed on my finger for a few shots.
He barely had the energy to hold on.
I set him down in some sunlight before moving on.

Contrary to popular belief, bees are not ferocious man-eaters. My great aunt sue pets them, holds them, and even kises them every once in a while. They only stay for a few seconds, but theyre still there. Its quite amazing to see. Now hornets, wasps, theyre both a different story, they will eat your internal organs out. ; ] Great shots.
