Went to the USF Botanical Garden a couple weeks ago. Upped the contrast a bit. I'd like general comments or technical critique. Thanks! :sillysmi:

I like it.

As for technical critique there's two things that kinda bug me about the image. One is the that the DOF blurred areas look as if they're suffering from jpeg compression artifacting. The other is that the leaves look sharper than the flowers. To remedy the sharpness issues I would do a color select on the purples, then deselect the BG purples, then add the whites (flower centers) to the selection, and then do a sharpen to bring out the lovely textures, spots, and etc. in those flowers. Next, before you deselect, I would increase both the contrast and the saturation. Actually you should do the contrast/saturation operation before the sharpening come to think of it.
