Anyone has them? How are they?
i knew they made flashes but didn't know they made lenses.
search for the lens you're interested in @ amazon.com and read the user reviews there
that's what i do
hope that helps
When I used to work at a camera store (many many many many moons ago)
Phoenix were the bottom of the barrel brand
We had a lot of returns on them mainly on the Canon side they wouldn't tell the camera to stop down the aperture
after seeing the returns that we had I decided that they weren't for me.
but time has gone by and who knows they might be a better company now.
I always thought they were the store brand for Ritz camera. My grandson had one, sees it was like a 28-105 zoom. It vignetted very badly, the mount was plastic and loose, the filter threads were plastic and deformed so no filter would thread, and the barrel distortion at the wide end and pincushion at the long was terrible. He returned the lens and we found an old Nikkor on ebay that he is thrilled with.
You're thinking of Quantaray. Anyway, thanks for the responses.
They're crap. I've never really seen a good review of one.
They're usually on ebay for SUPER cheap.
You are correct, but I am almost positive that both are one in the same. Just re-branded.
So then, crap that that is re-branded is still crap?!
Exactly! To say it another way, a Rose by any other name, is still thorny.
Separate names with a comma.
