Photo borders

For the many of you out there that put borders and mattes on your photos for web posting, how do you do it? Pre-setup scripts, e-manual or do you create and action and batch process?

there are lots of actions around but I always do it individually because I like to be certain the matte tint is appropriate for the color of the image.

I've heard that you can use ImageMagick to do more than one at a time?

Never used it so i'm not sure, don't know if you can do that in PhotoShop.
