Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So i'm extremely new to photography, I couldn't even tell you what camera I have without looking at it.

Anyway I took this photo a few days ago:

As you can see it's relatively blurry and there's a red splotch of something.

What causes the red splotch, and should I edit it out?
Should I sharpen the image?

I'm decent with photoshop but I've done very little photo editing.

Thanks.

The red splotch is a ghost image of the sun caused by that bright light source bouncing around and reflecting off the internal elements of the lens or any filter you might have on the front of lens. A smaller aperture can help reduce lens flare and ghost lights.

Whether to edit it out is completely your prerogative based on what you like or don't like in a photograph.

The blurriness... I'm not really seeing. Try making a copy of the file and sharpening and see. If you don't like it, don't keep it.
