Photo Editing software

I have PS Elements 5 and have found it to be great. This latest version (5) is very capable, and has an excellent organizer with it. The package is only around $80 usd.

Im running Microsoft Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition Editor on my laptop, and i love it. I dont do a ton of editing, its good for resizing images, and its good a couple of cool filters alough i dont use them unless I am doing digital art.

In order:
Free = Irfanview
Least Expensive - Very Very Good = Elements
Expensive - Best = Photoshop

after using the gimp for several months, i switched to CS2 and i love it!

depends on how much you wanna spend and what your going to do with it.

I have 3 programs my self and have used a couple more. The photoshop CS2 is a great program, but for someone who hasn't used it before it is a nightmare (this would include me I hate trying to figure it out). I have photoshop elements a little cheaper and more user friendly.. This is what I find to be the best product for me.
