Hey all, I'm new here. I recently made the switch from film-> digital via a Nikon D50, and have gotten familiar with it after some greatly enjoyed fiddling. I have seen on some sites that people have shutter speed, iso, f-stop etc.. listed for each individual photo. I'm assuming they aren't memorizing these stats for each photo, so where can I find this info? Is it hidden somewhere in the raw pic file? Thanks!!

yes, it's called EXIF data, and it should be somewhere inside the file. you can right click and go to properties and it'll be in one of the tabs. (in windows).

i think almost all photo editing apps can extract the exif data. hope that helps~
