Photo location iPhone help!!

Ok so what in wondering..

I've sent a few emails and photos to people in messages. I want to know if they save my picture can they find the location I'm at from the information in the picture of me they have saved?

I'm kinder freaked out now

It's photos from my iPhone. I can see the location that's saved

Yes they can look up the location, but most people don't know how to do that and most people don't care.

If your phone is set up to do so, it will embed the GPS location of the phone when a photo was taken into the EXIF data of the image.

You can turn this feature off.

Yeh I know a lot of people don't care but I just get worried some do. Plus with posting them on social media. I've turned it off now :/ . Kinder crazy what's stored in the data

This is something that surprises a lot of parents. They're unaware the new phones are capable of that and don't know the GPS data can be viewed by pedophiles when the kids post photos on social media.
