Photo sites?

I use netfirms.com

They will give you 20mb to use for free if you put one of their banners (small and not obnoxious like some free sites) on your pages. For $10 a month you get your own domain name, 500mb, 100 email addresses, and a lot of other stuff I never use. They have a very easy to use photo gallery feature.

I use freewebs...and know nothing about web design or anything and it's really easy to use. You can make pages of pictures or you can do a Web Album too...or both. You can check out my site for an example and see what you think. Here's the link to theirs: http://members.freewebs.com/

and here's a link to mine: http://www.freewebs.com/eromallagadnama/

Hope that helps...I tried a few others and didn't really care for them, but this one is easy, fast, and IMO looks decent :) Good luck!!!

$10 a month for a domain is fairly pricy. If you get a host (no banners..) you could get space, emails and a .com for about $4-$10. Just look for hosting that includes the domain name. I use 1and1.com and so far I've been very pleased with their services.

Making a basic website is pretty easy, especially with the use of html editors like Dreamweaver.

There are also tons of html resources on the net too.

funpic.de offers free hosting, no ads of any kind, no popups, they support php and mysql, and everything else you could think of. All free...

the only catch: its all in german. so if you know that, your good to go.

Get your own domain and hosting, and use Jalbum.

My hosting company is Ipowerweb, and if you pay up front for 2 years it's $6.95 a month for 2gigs, 500 email addresses, 50 gigs of bandwidth per month, and free domain registration. You get a whole host of software like shopping cart, chat server, guestbook, forum, (like this one), and more.

More info here.

If your looking for someplace ONLY for displaying your photos you could try photobucket.com.

Its not a domain name website .......... only a free photo host.

Its what I use (see my link below) and its easy to set up.

Those free webb site hosts do peak my interest though.

I use my ISP's free webspace then use Fasthosts here in the uk to redirect visitors from my registered domain name to my free webspace. Fasthosts charge £2.34 for this. it means when u goi to my website you dont see the ISP's name in the URL...it's only the name i registered. I used Frontpage to construct and maintain the site myself. Lot of work to get started but easy once it's up and running......I'm also not limited to and photogalleries layout and I can change the layout anytime i please.
www.darich.co.uk - all visitors redirect to the link below....but both are the same place.
