Photogentics and HDR Shop ?s

Has anyone used these programs before. I downloaded them today and am not getting good results when tryingt o create HDR images. They seem to be pretty technical, i.e. camera calidration curves, pixel ranges, setting f-stop values etc. If anyone can shed some light on how to produce quality HDR images like the ones that have been appearing on this site recently I would appreciate it.

I havent used either of those...... if you want similar results to what has been on here recently and you havent got CS2, you could try Photomatix.... i think they do a free version, but with a limited number of exposures.
