Photographers rights - UK

Such a restriction is a scary development, IMO. It brings to mind the Benjamin Franklin quote "Those willing to give up a little liberty for a little security deserve neither security nor liberty"

I think it's a reaction to the murmurings of people like Red Ken, the card in question (as I understand it reading the above link) is a home made jobby suggested by camera clubs which wouldn't mean anything anyway, but the way the govt are picking on photogs at the mo tells me that it will soon be as restrictive as the US on what you can and can't take a shot of.

Personally, I doubt if a terra or a kiddie fiddler would bother waiting for the right light or check the composition before they took a shot.
