Photographing Properties For Money

I remember seeing ads 25 years ago stating that photographers could make money taking photos of real estate and for-sale properties. Recently, I saw similiar advertisements. Have any of you heard of this, and is it really possible? If so, can you suggest a starting point? Sounds like a simple way to make a little extra income while I continue to work on my photography skills.

I guess you could call up some real estate agencies and ask if they would pay for this service.

With digital cameras being so readily available nowadays...I'm not so sure this would be lucrative, even as a side job. You could try.

maybe 25 years ago...but now? Probably not. They really just take a pic of the house with a digicam (the agent) and post it up for the world to see.

You can ask, but don't expect much.

I think you could do it for really high end properties, but then you'd have to be really good at doing the lighting and everything to make it look really good.
