I'm totally going to try that for a softbox!!

Can you tell me what that is, though? I might've forgotten for what purpose it does, lol

It's softbox. I use one myself although mine is made from a shoebox. It dramatically increases the size of the light source in exchange for a bit of a power hit. But the result makes a much nicer softer and more natural light for portraits.

His is a bit more advanced than mine since it has a support bracket LOL.

ok so I've posted these before but what the hell

we were bored at work!!

is that a lens, or are ya just happy to see me?

LOL I did it!!! :thumbup::):lmao:

a FedEx box, two rubber bands, a pillow case, half a roll of ductape, two tripods, and an SB-600 later, and boom! wireless softbox!

I don't have any real pictures of it becuase it completely fell apart shortly after about 3 pictures! :lol:

It looks alot like the one pictured above, but instead of a wooden bracket, it was ductape and ALOT more cloth. I mounted it on one of my tripods.

This is the only picture I have with the softbox and fill card, you can see how close I had to get for it to be effective.

Not too bad results either!

:lmao::lmao::lol:

I think it's funny as hell how jerry-rigged it is! My flash was probably going at full power too!

These are great photos. I love the one of the lady holding the camera backwards!!!!!!!! LOL...hahaha!!!!!!!!

Believe me it's all in the paper. 2 ply tissue paper works well to eliminate speculars and create alovely soft light with minimal loss. Line the inside of the softbox with aluminium foil for an even stronger power boost. You should easily be able to use it at ISO100 f/8 at 1/4 power.

all i can contribute... not funny ...

hehehe.. thanks for the laugh.. I really need it as I've been at work since 4am this memorial holiday.

The guy with a photo printer is a pure business man at heart. thumbs up to him.

oooooo... The guy in the first picture has a Nikon strap to what looks like a Canon camera/lens. ooooooo I'm going to tell.
