Photography contest ideas?

My city is doing a contest and it states

Photos may be featured in the City’s annual Calendar and Services Guide, displayed on the City’s website, featured in the City News newsletter, and may be used in other ways to promote the City.

Now the Catagories areeople & Pets
Nature & Wildlife
Public & Places

I want to do this for fun, but i can't think of any ideas for these categories, I'm in the phase where i just draw blanks. :[ I can enter one photo in each category.

This is my setup:
450D w/ 18/55mm lens
70-300mm lens
430EX Flash


I'd be so grateful if you guys can help me out with this. I haven't been good with ideas all last month ;[

think you're meant to think it up yourself, but something useful is to go on flikr and search for those things and get ideas...any other website will do obviously
