Hey All - I am working on a Flash project for one of my classes. I've picked photography as my choice and need your help to think up 5 topics that would be great to have in ths project. It's a web based Flash project so one day it could be a site. The project is intended for someone that may not know very much about photography but would like to learn more.

What would your 5 topics be if you wanted to learn more about photography??

    Thanks,
    Amanda

The one biggest thing is exposure - aperture, shutter, ISO. To make it 5, add digital vs. film maybe?

Nah - just trying to get a general idea. I've got topics selected but not sure if they would be all around "general". teehee

Very heavy subject. Wish I knew how long it could be and how much time you had to spend on the project. If you wanted to do it justice the deal would be anywhere from 8 to 40 hours long of showing time. I am guessing that you have less then half an hour.

    1. History of photography. Dedicate some time to this one. Really needs to spark some interest.

    2. Camera basics. Make this brief. The student will have an easier time if they can figure it out for themselves.

    3. Composition basics. Use photos from the masters to illustrate this point. This will get them motivated.

    4. Shoot a photograph. Explain the thought process of composition and camera to capture what you are seeing.

    5. Shoot a theme. This will encourage them to understand the what's and why fors.

That sounds like a fun project. Flash websites are always fun.

Thanks! It's for a multimedia class so it's not really something that will be a "short" showing. Mainly flash projects can be as big or small as you want them to be - because I am on quarters I've got until 11/19 to have it completed - sounds like a long time... not really flash can rule your life... sometimes it rules mine... but anyway I think it's not going to be a large project but slightly bigger then medium! I like the suggestions - they are really great! Thanks for your help! :)
