I'm just back from a holiday to Scotland and I've made 800 photos! Off course I'm not gonna show them all, so here are a few of them. I hope to hear what you think of it and how I can approve my photographs!

What a wonderful cross-section of photos of what you saw in Scotland! From scenery, to wildlife (love #13), to fishing and pub scenes (love #9). Nice choices. And you have some lovely compositions (eg the compos of 2 and 14 really appeal to me).

I like the pov (point of view) you used in #1, but the focus is a bit soft and the stained glass window is blown out. In #3 and 11, the pov looking down at the subject doesn't work well, IMO.

Thanks for posting these...I've never been to Scotland, so it was nice to see if vicariously through your eyes.

Thanks a lot for your comment! It is very usefull! :D

I agree with what Antarctican said.

Also, on 5, 8, and 10, I'm not sure that the super-elongated crop does anything for the photos. I think those would work better in a more standard format.

My favorite here is #4. You captured a really nice combination of light and dark there. The focus looks like it may be a bit soft, but it's a great shot!

Nice choice of photos presented here.
My favourite very easily is the pub scene in No 9. I really like that one and I do like the fact that this one person communicates with us, the viewers, in so far as he looked straight into the camera.

But I also quite like the choice of motif and angle (which is rare for me to like, unless the angle is straight, I'm a bit boring and old-fashioned there) of Photo 3!

Photo 8 is downright endearing.
