Photoshop blending fun

I made the bee/wasp image out of this one.

Ive been having fun with layer blending modes lately. I wonder if theres a way to make money off of this sort of thing. Ive seen similar stuff before when searching for backgrounds for websites *not that I would use something like this for a website background*

I start off with 2 layers, usually red and green lately, and do something gradient. Usually diagonal, red white red, then the opposite diagonal green white green.

Then the top layer I change the blending mode. difference is my favorite for this part usually.

Then I copy the merged results and paste it as a new layer. Then go throught he blending modes to see what I like. Then repeat these steps for a while till I end up with something I really like.

This image was created from the 2nd image above. I rotated the image and mirrored the one side of it to give it a diamond/kite shape.
