    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos OK to edit
    worth it? i am looking to get it. i have the digital photo pro that came with my canon. is it much better? is there another around $100 better?

    I use Elements 6 and love it (So I would think 8 would be much better). I mean it offers everything I currently need to manipulate photos and correct them. The availability of Plug Ins (Topaz) that will give you further possibilities makes it a very good platform, especially for the price.

    You may also try out GIMP as it is free and pretty darn capable.

    Elements does a terrific job.....and whatever you learn it applies to the Photoshop CS series if and when you make that move. I use Photoshop CS3 and found that although it has many more features it does what Elements does only easier.
