photoshop .......!

There are tons of great tutorials online. I tend to like the readable ones over the videos because they are easier for me to follor.

Layers are great, always use layers. I like curves a lot.

My favorite thing to do is push all the colors. Go to red and do
Red: 150
Blue: -25
Green: -25

go into blue and do
Blue: 150
red: -25
green: -25

and go into green and do

green: 150
red: -25
blue: -25

if there is a person in the picture, erase the layer from their face. Here is an exaple of a picture with colors pushed

I suggest that you look at the Scott Kelby 7 Point System [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Kelbys-7-Point-System-Photoshop-Voices/dp/0321501926/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1241146650&sr=8-1"]book[/ame]. It's a great photoshop learning tool. IT gives you a good handle on retouching photos. Each chapter takes a new image from his website, discusses what's wrong with it, then walks you through fixing it. I have learned a ton using that book. The Layers [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Layers-Complete-Photoshops-Powerful-Feature/dp/0321534166/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1241146685&sr=1-1"]book[/ame] is also good.
