for some reason all of the pictures i upload to my computer from my canon t2i are stretched left to right. if you see the image on the camera/ in real life it is a very noticeable difference, it also greatly decreases the sharpness. i am shooting in raw if that helps. i would like to know why this happens, and how to fix it

Which software are you using to view the images on your computer?

Also, it may be that your display settings are stretched when compared with the physical size of the screen. Do other images seem stretched? Have you tried viewing circles or squares and even measuring them? This might help:

My first guess would be that you use MS Windows, have an LCD screen, and the native resolution of the display does not match the settings.

If all this checks out ok, would you be able to post an image as an example?

well this just started when i got this camera, and even though the resolution is an issue it has never been this bad
