I was about 250 yards away (I'm guessing) so this is as tight as I could get. They flew away shortly after this photo. The store they're perched on has been there for at least the last 50 years - I liked the old look to it. I bumped up the contrast and cropped it a bit, but it's otherwise unedited.

    C&C welcome...

Familiar sight from when I was little and still lived in my home-town. Breeding pigeons was many a families big hobby there and then, and they would train them and let them do long-distance flights, and you would see large amounts of pigeons doing their training rounds and gathering on the top of their "home's" roof, i.e. of the person who owned them. Where I now live, we don't see this as much. Seems like it is more a hobby of those who live in the more industrialised areas of my country...
