Shot outside Sonora, Texas on a 7,000 acre ranch.

Very nice composition. Did you use any filters (physical or digital)? I know blue filters are pretty popular for b&w landscapes.

Thanks. I wasn't using a polarizing filter this day, but I did use a digital red filter when I processed the raw image to monochrome in order to bring out the sky and give the clouds more definition.

Very nice! Definitely more effective in B&W, I'd say.

Yeah, I was shooting in Monochrome mode at the time, so B&W was my ultimate goal. But when you shoot raw, they come back in as color anyway.

Nice, you made the typically boring plains of Texas into a great shot.
