Plants and Flowers

This is a pictuer of my Ibiscus, Somehow I feel the bright sun, took away from the deeper color of the flower, but I am really not good at photoshop to change these things. aside the deep color being "faded" whats else could you mention about the actually composition?

This is a bed of green, I was trying to think "what would make a nice desktop image" I attempted in placing the location of my picture taking, to have highlights and shadows from the morning sun on the green changing and adding depth.

This last one was an exercise in macro photo, it took a long time and tons of pictures to get this final shot, I know the composition is rather bad ( could the background be more out of focus make a better point of interest on the focus of the plant) The hardest part was to focus th spines.
