Isn't there a video on Filmwasters ?If you wet the negative before putting it on the glass, no tape is needed. Once the goop gets wet, it creates a pretty good seal and the negative stays firmly pressed to the glass. I tend to use straight gel bleach, wear latex gloves and use my fingers to gently rub the black backing off. Then I wash it off, peel the negative off the glass, and wash the goop.
