    Well, actually I played with my camera settings ... and the fire was there for my children to "play with" in the former washing machine drum at my father-in-law's place.

    I was fascinated to see how really fast shutter speeds could show a pattern of flames that our eyes normally can't even make out, while very long shutter speeds make it look so "roaring". :D

    You might like this too, maybe?​

    Favorite has to be #4 with the flames reaching up out of the bin!

    I agree, a fast shutter really does capture some interesting patterns! :thumbup:
