Well here is a shot I took recently while in New York:

You may recognise Empire Diner from the Spiderman Movie, where Kirsten Dunst came out to talk to Peter Park. Well being a little bored today I edited
the shot with a tighter crop and added night lighting!

I also played with the tones a bit, any and all comments welcome.

Oh. Cool ... suddenly all the ribbons stand out! I did not even see them in the original (given that is the real "original" or "just" the first b&w version? ;) ... well, you know what I mean). Its as if night fell, too. But the effect on the ribbons grabs me most. The crop is also good. THIS colour might not have been my choice ... but little do I know if any other would have been better!?!?!?

Yeah, I never even noticed the ribbons in the B&W till I played around with the RAW file.
