Can anyone tell me how to make Scotch eggs? :blushing:
well you need to get 2 chickens and let nature takes it course ;-) then you have a few eggs, then take them to Scotland and there you have it, Scotch eggs!
Ha. Ha. Ha. :greenpbl:
Try this - scotch eggs
Thank you Chris
The BBC Food site is very useful for all sorts of stuff like that. You can even give it a list of ingredients and it will find you something to make with them - ideal for the well stocked but unimaginative of us.
That sounds like an awesome tool!!!!! I would totally take advantage of that!
You want to make Scotch Eggs?
Do you not know that they were invented by canteens to put off people from eating in them? The things are unpleasant and lethal!
I've always thought they were table decoration, a bit like the ice sculptures you get in posh hotels, but a cheaper version for the prolatariat (they hardly know the difference you know).
Scotch Eggs are nice
Ah yes well they are obligatory in recreating years 0 - 4 in my husband's life. All part of my grand birthday celebration plans for him.
is it just me, or does most english food seem a bit on the greasy and repulsive side? take black pudding for instance... yummy congealed pig blood. Then again, i'm sure you brits have the same feeling about american food. Head cheese comes to mind, mc donald's burgers, spam (o.k i admit i like the stuff), potted meat product (made from the finest lips, spleens, organs, and arseholes), and innocent fruit suspended in jello (hey, i like this one too).
yes, i'm a bit ignorant. afterall, i've never tried scotch eggs, bubble and squeak (what a name for a food. is that what it did before it died or what it will do in your stomach?) and toad in the hole. i think i stepped in it here... i'll shut up now
Separate names with a comma.
