Polaroids

So I posted this in The Beginner's Place. Then I realized that it might not be all that "beginner".

I've never tried anything with Polaroid cameras, but I'm really interested in them. Some of my favorite photos come from the sx70. Though I've read that they've discontinued the film needed for this camera. So is there another type of Polaroid camera/film combination that would give me similar results to the sx70 and time zero film?

Check the film guys down in the film section. The get up here but I don't know how often.

We get around more than you might think, Mike.

Vitalorgans, you have a couple of options with an SX-70 camera. One is the newest film made to fit in these cameras: check here.

You can also use other Polaroid films of the same format, if you don't mind making a few adjustments. For details, look here. The new film is not going to manipulate like the former Time Zero. That is a piece of Polaroid history, unfortunately (don't get me started). But the cameras have been saved from becoming funny old paper weights, at least. :razz:
