poll on PSP or PSE-7

Need input on programs. What's your preference PSP or PSE-7,
and why.

Ok, let me re-post this. Currently I'm using PSE-5 and I'm looking to upgrade.
I've downloaded both trial versions of PSP and PSE-7, I find PSE runs slower on my computer. I'd like to get some input on the pros and cons of both.

I don't like to edit my photos for special effects, just to correct exposure, remove cables, crop, add sharpness, blur the background, remove noise and the like.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i am not sure what PSP is, but if all you want is simple correction, i would opt for elements 7 which i think is what the PSE-7, especially in PSP means full blown Photoshop.

PSE-7 is photoshop elements.
PSP is paint shop pro photo.

I totally 100% like PSP x2. Its just like using CS4, but way cheaper.
Many of the plugin makers that produce for Photoshop, also produce for PSP, so your good to go there.

Also in my opinion, PSP is far easier to use than Photoshop.

You can download a trial version of PSP x2, and try it out. The full blown Ultimate edition of PSP x2 runs around $50-99 bucks if you shop around. Ive used PSP exclusively since version 6... and Ill never switch.

I have tried both.

I stayed with PSP. Am now on PSP X2ultimate, only because it handles RAW (NEF).

psp will also do what you want and cost less.

I use a combination of PSP X2 and Lightroom 2 Does everthing I need it to and both still cost less than CS$
