Portfolio Critique please?

Hi everyone! I'm a newbie

These are a few of my more recent portraits that I was *considering* putting into my portfolio. I have had 12 hours of actual photography credits (required for my Design degree) The current photography class I am in is one I took for FUN! I love taking pictures of people and would really like to take it further. I just don't know if I am any good at it. My professor is a softie and doesn't like to hurt our feelings during critiques. SO hopefully you guys can give me some tips for more salable portraits?

they look good but I would look into imagenomic portraiture plug-in for photoshop helps a whole bunch with portraits.

Fill flash? It doesn't look like they need it... Am I the only one that feels this way?

1 and 2 are definitely in need of some fill. And number 3, the background could have been ironed.

I think they are maybe slightly cold.

Make them a little bit warmer and I think they would be much nicer
