    that is a duck!
    That said I do like the shot - great focus and wonderfuly sharp with eye reflections as well!
    possibly a little central crop a small bit of the right possibly?

    A duck is a female, the drake is the male..but the female is commonly called a hen.

    we have too many hens on site to start mixing them with the ducks ;) :)

    and out of shear interest is that all your work on sleeping wolves?

    I'll shoot anything...but mostly wildlife and travel.

    I took a look at your "Visit the Sleeping Wolves" link - incredible! Where do you travel to be able to find these animals? Do you track the wolves or are they just there? What lens do you shoot with to get such close-up, crisp images?

    Nice duck (duck!) pic. Like the others I visited your site and the wolf photos are amazing. I am assuming this is as a preserve or some sort? Beautiful either way.

    the wolves are in a refuge..which explains why they are so beautifully groomed..nicest wolves I've ever seen.
