Very nice! I like them both, but the second one stands out.

I take it you are using a PS filter to do the bluring? The multiple focal planes threw me off a little, but it's a nice effect.

I'm using a canon 10D with a 50mm f1.4 lens. I didn't do any blurring in photoshop, rather I sharpened the eye a bit because it bothered me that it wasn't as sharp as I would have liked, hence the multiple focal planes.

(and yes, her fingers are dirty... we had just been weeding my garden I kind of liked the fact that they were because it seems a little more spontaneous)

but not sure if the focus should be on the flower...just not sure...currently, the focus on the vlower REALLY makes her a camera shy person.

BTW, there's a hotspot on the forehead for the 1st pict.
