Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
What do you think of these portraits.. I took them at night without a flash...(tried to use the light coming from the torches that were lit in the street..)

I have a few versions of the first shot...

tell me what you think and how i could improve them!

thank you for looking!

Maybe posting the original shot OTE (okay to edit) would help.

#2/#3 have a lot of noise.

I'm not sure about #1. Parts of his face look too hot.

#4 may work if you brighten it some with a tighter crop?

No. 1 looks like a great portrait! Though I also kinda like the less colorful number 2 better. Which was the original color? Between 2 and 3, I'd just go with whatever way he was facing when you took the picture.

Hey, these compared to the Rembrandt-painting, I should say that Photo 3 covers it best, and actually I quite like the grain/noise in that one. Shows that you were working with very little light only and applying some sort of chiaroscura technique.
You do have some very hot spots in your first photo here, and I don't quite like the light-shadow distribution in that photo as much, either, as I do in Photo 3.

And hey, I do like the overall feel and atmosphere of the last!
When was this, what happened, why the torches?
End of the Tour de Luxembourg?

(Oh, and by the way: I am only finding these now... have never seen them before, sorry.)

Ah thanks, just found it ... had never seen that thread before, either.
