Possible amendment to the galleries section

I know this is happening a lot more with the macro section than in the past and whilst I don't keep a close eye on many of the other galleries I suspect it might be true of them as well - however there are more and more threads appearing that are not photo display/critique based, but are infact more generalist discussions within the subject area itself.

As something that might help promote the use of the galleries and get some focused site discussions occuring might it not be prudent to rename the gallery and amend the descriptions of the gallery sections to welcome/encourage this subject discussion aspect.

I feel that either we need to embrace and encourage this change -or- provide additional section areas to encourage it (not keen on this as I feel TPF already has enough sections without effecitivly doubling the galleries) -or- adopt a more strict policing/moderation of the sections and move discussion out and into the more generalist sections of the site.

As I say my preference is the first option.
