hello i just bought a d90 and would love to see some shots to see what this cameras capable of, thanks and have fun :)

sorry i am using the 18-105 right now so lets go with that and not a lot of Photoshop thanks :)

Here's one of my daughter.

Ignore the blue border, I hate it as well so the final print was w/o it.

In-camera monochrome w/ increased sharpness

my friend grabbed my camera and shot it.

Really hard to get her to pose so when I get her, I get what I can get and go from there.

Here are few with a Tokina 10-17

Most images were processed in one way or another, especially since I jumped on the RAW wagon :)

18-105, in my opinion is a pretty decent all around the lens.
The cons are is that I'm more worried about it being on camera and bracket then I am about 28-105 (stronger built). It does have more distortion b/n 28-35 when I compared it to my 28-105 and I also think it has more distortion b/n 18-50 when I compared it to 18-200. HOWEVER, that distortion is noticeable if you're looking for it (kind of like looking for trouble - and you'll find one :) ).
Pros: the high range in focal length, makes it an ideal lens for a lot if situations, I wish I got the 18-200 instead though :). Even the fact that it is 5.6 at higher focal length, isn't an issue for me b/c I rarely IF any shoot wider then that.

I can't show you any work/wedding stuff b/c those images aren't online/on my computer but are in-studio only.

There have already been a couple of other "Post your D90 pics" threads.

This was done on a stock D90 setup (18-105) with a couple flashes.

Only a slight desaturation and cool WB done in post.
