Practice before the wedding

    Our B&G were arriving via helicopter to the ceremony so before they got there I took some pics of my wife. This is my favorite one.

    D90, 70-200 2.8, F/3.8, 1/4000, ISO 200

    Now that I've posted it though; may ask some opinions on the conversion to B&W? Did I bump up the contrast too much? I'm concerned about the back of her head. I lost all detail it seems. Any thoughts?

    I think the B&W looks good. In the color photo the braids are underexposed to the point where you really have to look to see them anyway. I think having them like they are in the B&W make it look better because it's just there. You don't have to try to see it.

    A decent point. It's still bugging me though. I'm really happy with the rest of the image so I'll continue the internal debate :lmao:

    I prefer the B&W... I think it could stand a slight bump to the contrast... But I like it. :)

    Thanks BuS RiDeR. I'll try the bump in contrast and see what happens!
